NYC VIDEOS - TASTY RECIPE | GREEK SEMOLINA PUDDING WITH RAISINS AND PINE Ingredients: 1 cup Sunflower oil 2 cups Semolina (thick) 3 cups Sugar 4 cups Water 50 gr Roasted Pine 50 gr Raisins 1 Cinnamon stick 1 tbsp. Cinnamon powder Lemon peel Orange zest Preparation: In a saucepan put sugar, water, cinnamon stick, lemon peel and brink to the boil. Roast the pine. In a casserole pour the oil and the semolina. Cook for 5 min in low heat. Stir continuously. (The time that you will cook semolina will affect the color and flavor of your pudding. There is not a proper way, it’s a matter of taste) Then pour gradually the syrup (warm) while stirring. Be careful, it may burn you. (Wear a shirt with long sleeves) Add the raisins, the roasted pine and cinnamon powder. Cook until it became a thick paste. Put it in forms and let it cool for a few hours. Store out of refrigerator.
